I have been hearing a song on K-LOVE lately called "Empty Me" by Chris Sligh- are you familiar with it?? That song has quite a "hook"(you know, the chorus of the song or that part of the song that you wake up singing in the morning) :
"empty me of the selfishness inside,
every vain ambition and the poison of my pride,
and any foolish thing my heart holds to,
Lord empty me of me so I can be... filled with You"
That got me thinking- what are my favorite "hooks" in Christian music ? What is your favorite "hook" ?
