“Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me and know my anxious thoughts; And see if there is any hurtful way in me, and lead me in the everlasting way.” (Psalms 139:23-24 NASB)
Host unreachable- two words you do not want to see flashing on your computer screen when you arrive at work!

For us, it usually means long lines of impatient customers, us doing some of the work twice (once on an offline format and then re-entering it a second time when we get back up) and our inability to do other transactions because of our dependence on three national databases to verify a customer's eligibility. Ah, life in the 21st Century!
The problem - a " line" failure between Pine Bluff and Little Rock. And it really doesn't matter what caused the line failure. Something severed the connection between DIS’s servers and our thin clients.
The very same thing can happen to us in the Spiritual realm. Sin can destroy our lines of communication with The Lord of Hosts.
Have you ever experienced the feeling that your prayer didn't get past the top of your head? Or perhaps you prayed so long for God to show you His direction in a matter, and it's as if all you hear is a deafening silence? Is something hindering your prayer life?
The Bible tells us in Psalms, "If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear." (Ps. 66:18)
Could there be something in your life you that you are hanging onto that needs to be forsaken? I can’t help but to be reminded of Joshua and the sin of Achan (Joshua chapters 6-7).
Is there something concealed in the "tent" of our hearts that we’ve picked up along the way, that we know shouldn't be there?
Unfortunately, we are not any different than Achan. The same lusts of the flesh and the lusts of the eyes, and the pride of life that snared Achan can ensnare us-if we are not careful and not into God’s Word (Ps.119:9-16) Satan is actively seeking his next victim (1st Peter 5:6-8), so be on guard !
Christians often fail to realize that they are engaged in a war. If not, why would the Apostle Paul command believers to “put on the full armor of God..”? (Ephesians 6:11)
By the Grace of God, may we stay connected to our Server (Savior).
